The project involved working with stakeholders, analysing wayfinding hierarchies and nomenclature, and incorporating the university's new branding into a completely new wayfinding system for both internal and external signage.

Sheffield Hallam University appointed us to develop a wayfinding design guide for their campus. This involved analysing the wayfinding needs for two complex campus areas, along with satellite building within Sheffield city centre.

We developed a new sign family and specification for signage that reinforces the new brand and identity. The sign family is designed to work in a variety of environments and can be updated as required. We wrote a design guide to set out the principles for the sign procurement in the future to ensure the development of a consistent identity and style.
