Regent’s Place

British Land
London, UK
Placemarque were commissioned by British Land to provide a new wayfinding solution for this prestigious central London development. Existing signage provision could not be easily updated to accommodate new buildings, facilities or shops and the lack of any mapping presented a confusing environment that was difficult to navigate. The boundary of the development was not clearly defined and the current signage did not reflect and communicate the high quality of the public realm environment that features public art installations by Julian Opie and Anthony Gormley.
A new branding package for Regent’s Place was being implemented and one of the key aims of the strategy was for us develop a strong branding ‘signature’ that could be applied across the sign structures.
