University College London commissioned us to carry out a complete internal and external signage strategy to reflect and extend the new UCL corporate guidelines.
The project has developed new external and internal signs for each college building – approximately 300 of them. Some were listed and others located in conservation areas, so the project involved detailed negotiations with the local planning authority and English Heritage.
What we did
We carried out the wayfinding analysis, sign design, prototype development, and creation of a sign manual, and have managed the procurement of the manufacture and installation.
